Happy July 4th 2017 – United States Independence Day Celebration
The Fourth of July—otherwise called Independence Day or July 4th—has been a government holiday in the United States since 1941, however the convention of Independence Day celebrations backpedals to the eighteenth century and the American Revolution. On July second, 1776, the Continental Congress voted for independence, and after two days delegates from the 13 settlements received the Declaration of Independence, a notable record drafted by Thomas Jefferson. From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been praised as the introduction of American independence, with celebrations going from firecrackers, parades and shows to more easygoing family social occasions and grills.
